AOK-DANCE

AOK-DANCE is a Clonmel-based dance school owned and run by local dancer and teacher Aoife O'Keeffe. It specialises in ballet, lyrical dance and contemporary ballet, with classes for boys and girls from age 3 through to adults, plus a dedicated boys' contemporary dance class and a small 'stars' class for students with additional needs.

All classes take place in the school's own studio in Gortnafleur Business Park, which is fitted with a dance floor, ballet barres and mirrors. Ballet classes progress from preschool groups (Robins, Cygnets, Swans) to intermediate, senior and pointe work, with optional exams and Progressing Ballet Technique conditioning for school students.

Lyrical groups follow the ABD contemporary syllabus and have performance and competition opportunities, alongside end-of-term shows and local festival appearances. The emphasis throughout is on enjoyment, creativity and building confidence, a warmth echoed in parent testimonials.
