Ardú Academy of Irish Dance is a family-run Irish dancing school in the Allenwood, Naas and Newbridge area of Co. Kildare, led by qualified An Chomhdháil teachers Alan and Nicola McCormack, with former pupils Caitriona Burgess and Chloe Farrell joining the teaching team in 2025.

Rebranded in 2020, the academy takes its name from the Irish word for 'rise' and uses a phoenix as its logo. Positive teaching methods build self-confidence, discipline, concentration, good sportsmanship and social skills while students develop strength, technique, style and posture.

The curriculum covers both competitive and recreational dancing, with solo and team classes, optional yearly Grading Diploma Examinations, and levels from beginner to world championship standard. Classes run weekly across several community venues (Allen/Kilmeague, Allenwood, Milltown and Naas) plus private one-to-one and group sessions at the Ardú Studio in Allenwood.

A Digital Dance Hub backs up classes with online resources. Flexible term packages and sibling discounts keep Irish dancing accessible to every family.
