Galway Yoga Centre, founded in 1986, is the first yoga centre in Galway and has been teaching traditional yoga for more than 35 years, as well as training yoga teachers for the last 25. Its weekly classes suit most people, focusing on ease of body and a calm state of mind, and respect the body's limits while working steadily on trouble areas.

Classes run in 12-week terms, with Galway classes (including easy, continuation and advanced levels) at 1 Mill St, Galway City, offered in the room and on Zoom, plus a separate Athenry class schedule. Students are asked to bring a mat and a blanket for the relaxation.
