Catherine Casey School of Dance, Shankill

Catherine Casey School of Dance is a children's dance school with branches in Castleknock, Lucan and Shankill, the latter taken over from the Dex McGloughlin School of Dance in 2013.

Founded in 2005 by Catherine Casey, a former professional dancer and ISTD-qualified teacher with over 24 years of experience, the school is built around inclusion, so every student gets the full benefit of their training.

Classes are age-specific, with Christmas class demonstrations, professional school photo shoots, age-appropriate auditions and fully staged biennial shows that raise funds for Crumlin Children's Hospital. A team of qualified teachers and teaching assistants supports each student, helping children build friendships, teamwork and self-belief. Enrolment is open for September 2026.
