Founded in 1987 by Niamh Dinan, the Dinan School of Ballet in Ennis offers classes in ballet, contemporary, theatrecraft, tap and jazz for children from three and a half, teens and adults. The school focuses on a safe, child-centred environment with qualified, nurturing teachers who aim to build confidence, coordination and a lasting love of dance.

Students regularly sit RAD and IDTA exams, compete at IDTA All Ireland and national championships, and have performed on stage and television and won scholarships and international award nominations. An annual show and appearances at local events such as the Ennis Street Arts Festival are a highlight of the year.
