Sligo Climbing Club

Sligo Climbing Club is a community-run climbing club in the northwest of Ireland that meets regularly for bouldering, top roping, trad and sport climbing. Most sessions take place outdoors at crags around Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal, with indoor trips to venues such as Foyle Arena in Derry and Awesome Walls in Dublin when the weather turns.

Monthly club outings on the first Sunday are ideal for newcomers, and non-members can guest at up to three events before joining. The club lends members ropes, helmets, harnesses, shoes and top rope anchor gear, so beginners can get started without buying kit.

A volunteer committee runs events, membership and equipment, and members share invitations through the club's Facebook page.
