Athlone Gymnastics Club

Athlone Gymnastics Club is a Gymnastics Ireland-affiliated club based at its own gym in Monksland, Athlone, and describes itself as the only affiliated gymnastics club in the Athlone area. It runs weekly recreational classes for beginners from age 6, split by age group and gender, plus a Friday teen class and GymABLE sessions.

Holiday camps (Easter, summer and Halloween-time activities) are open to members and non-members. The gym is fully equipped with bars, beam, floor, vault, P-bars, rings, mushroom, pommel horse, a sprung floor and an air track. All coaches are qualified through Gymnastics Ireland, Garda vetted and trained in child safeguarding.

Classes are drop-and-go, with no waiting or viewing area for parents. New places are released on the website through online registration forms as they become available, and there is no waiting list.
