Dance with Patrick

Dance with Patrick runs beginner-friendly salsa classes in East Cork, with weekly sessions in Midleton (Wallis' Bar), Youghal and Killeagh.

Taught by Patrick, a French instructor of Afro-Caribbean descent with over 20 years of experience designing courses, the classes follow a structured, step-by-step system that takes complete beginners from zero to dancing confidently in about eight weeks.

Each session combines a warm-up, solo footwork, partner work with lead and follow, a short choreography and a 30-minute social dance practice. No partner or experience is needed, and the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and inclusive, with cultural insight into salsa's Afro-Caribbean roots. Monthly social dance nights in Midleton let students try their skills in a real setting.
