Alhaj Taekwondoklubb

Alhaj Taekwondoklubb is based in Åkersberga and offers taekwondo training for children, young people and adults in Åkers friskola's gymnasium at Svampvägen 4. Training covers self-defence, poomsae (movement patterns), strength, fitness and camaraderie — all within the framework of traditional taekwondo.

The club is run by six sisters who have practised taekwondo since 1999 and founded the association in 2014. It is a small, instructor-led operation with separate groups for children and for young people and adults respectively. Sessions are held on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at times adapted to each group. The club is also certified to receive participants with FaR (Fysisk Aktivitet på Recept — exercise on prescription).

Suitable for those who want to try a martial art in a welcoming environment with no prior experience required — equally so for children looking for a structured leisure activity and for adults who want to get moving and build confidence.
