Bromma Karateklubb

Bromma Karateklubb is an established karate dojo in Bromma, Stockholm, with over 30 years of activity in the district. The club practises the Shito-ryu style and is affiliated with Svenska Karateförbundet and the organisation Shitoryu Kihakai. Training is aimed at everyone from complete beginners to competitive practitioners, and beginner groups with trial class opportunities start regularly – the next intake is planned for August 2026. Training takes place in KFUM-hallen in Alvik, Vidängsvägen 11.

The atmosphere is shaped by a club culture focused on safety and long-term development. Head instructor Neil O'Connor holds a 5th Dan and leads a team of experienced instructors and judges trained in accordance with Karateförbundet's guidelines. The club carries out background checks on its leaders and works actively in accordance with RFS' regulations for a safe sporting environment. The competitive results speak for themselves – the club has produced both national champions and Nordic champions in Shito-ryu.

Suited to those who want to learn traditional karate in a well-organised club setting, whether you are a beginner or have experience and are aiming for competition.
