Budo Zen Center Klassisk Karate

Budo Zen Center is a traditional karate dojo in Vasastan, Stockholm, with roots going back to 1980. The studio offers training in Goju Ryu karate for children, young people and adults at all levels — from beginners who are welcome to join regular classes straight away, to more advanced practitioners who take part in dojo camps covering kata, bunkai, irikumi and physical training.

The environment is characterised by a classic dojo atmosphere with a focus on mutual respect and community. Training is led by experienced instructors and combines fitness, strength, flexibility and self-defence with mental training. As the main dojo for IOGKF Sweden (International Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation), the connection to the Okinawan tradition is central and provides access to an international network of training camps and gradings.
