Byängshallen

Byängshallen is the home arena in Viggbygärdet, Täby, used by Täby Basket – one of the larger basketball clubs in the Stockholm region. The club covers everything from the youngest players at under-7 level up to senior level, with teams for both girls and boys in every age category. In addition to competitive basketball, there are recreational groups such as Täby Lantchips, Täby Tanks, Täby Vets and Motionsbasket Mix for those who want to play in a more relaxed setting, as well as the para-basketball teams Täby Wildcats and Täby MiniCats.

Training is led by club coaches and leaders, supported by an internal coaching handbook and a clear player development framework tailored to each age group. The hall is used primarily for team training and league matches, and the atmosphere is club-driven rather than commercial – it is about the community around the sport.
