Become an Athlete Ekerö

Become an Athlete Styrkesällskap (BAASS) is a non-profit sports association focused on weightlifting, operating at two locations: Träkvistavallen in Ekerö and Ranhammarsvägen in Bromma. The association offers coach-led training sessions in the Olympic lifts Snatch and Clean and Jerk, with 2–3 sessions per week included in the membership. The Ekerö operation caters to children, young people and adults, with structured training under the guidance of a qualified coach on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

The atmosphere is club-based and friendly — a group of people with a shared interest in lifting heavy, whether you are a beginner or a competitive lifter at elite level. In addition to the scheduled sessions, membership includes free access to the club gym, workshops, club championships and joint activities. What sets BAASS apart from commercial gyms is its non-profit structure and its clear specialisation in weightlifting as a sport.
