Enebybergsgymnasterna

Enebybergsgymnasterna is one of Danderyd's largest sports associations, with roots going back to girls' gymnastics in Enebyberg in the 1960s. The association was formally founded in 1973 and has since grown into an organisation of approximately 1,300 members, placing it among the ten largest gymnastics associations in the Stockholm region.

The activities are primarily focused on team gymnastics and offer groups for all ages and levels – from family and toddler gymnastics for the youngest to competitive groups for youths and juniors. The association has a dedicated initiative for children with special needs through the programme Upp&Ner, and a growing boys' section with just over 230 active gymnasts. Training takes place in a purpose-built gymnastics hall at Mörbyhallen as well as in several schools in Danderyd.

The organisation is supported by a professional team consisting of an operations manager, a sports consultant and four employed coaches, together with a large number of volunteer leaders. Competitive activity takes place at national level, with teams in girls', boys' and mixed classes. Registration for groups and camps is done via the association's booking system SportAdmin.
