Gojukai Seinan Karateklubb

Gojukai Seinan Karateklubb is a well-established karate club operating in Aspudden and Midsommarkransen in southern Stockholm. The club was founded over 40 years ago and is led by its founder Conny Helgesson Ferm, 7 dan Shihan, together with Emma Helgesson, 5 dan Jokyo. The style practised is Gojukai, a branch of Goju-ryu karate, and training covers kata, kihon and kumite.

The club offers groups for children, young people and adults, and also has a dedicated family group where parents and children can train together. Beginners are warmly welcome and can attend a free trial class before deciding to join. Training takes place at Tellusborgshallen near Midsommarkransen and focuses on coordination, balance, strength, fitness and personal development.

Regular gradings are held where members can advance through the ranks by demonstrating their skills in kumite, kata and kihon. The club also holds open days and competes actively, and there is a calendar on the website for keeping track of upcoming events and term start dates.
