KAIZEN Kampsportcenter

Kaizenkan Kampsportscenter is a martial arts club located at Hackstavägen 9 in Åkersberga, north of Stockholm. The activities are gathered under the concept of Bujutsu and encompass several traditional Japanese martial arts: Karatejutsu, Kobujutsu, Iaido and Battojutsu as well as Kyujutsu. The club accepts children from the age of eight, young people, adults and seniors, and also offers specially adapted training for people over 65 and for those with intellectual disabilities.

The head instructor is Soke Leif Hermansson, who has more than six decades of experience in martial arts and holds the rank of 10th dan in Karate and Okinawa Kobudo. He leads an instructor team in which all members are graded to at least 1st dan and have completed the Swedish Budo and Martial Arts Federation's leadership training. The training emphasises the original form and philosophy of the martial arts rather than a competition-oriented approach.

The club regularly organises seminars and summer camps, including an internationally open summer camp in Åkersberga. There is also the opportunity to take part in trips to Okinawa. Kaizenkan is affiliated with WTMAS and welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners who wish to deepen their knowledge of traditional Japanese martial arts.
