Karamba dance studio

Karamba Dance Studio is a dance school located in the GIH premises at Lidingövägen 1 in Stockholm, with access to a spacious dance hall of 150 square metres. The school specialises in Latin American partner dancing and offers term courses in bachata and salsa for various levels, from complete beginners to those looking to develop existing skills. Drop-in classes, social dance evenings and special events complement the course programme.

Teaching is led by Guillermo Aponte and focuses on creating a safe and inclusive environment where participants learn at their own pace. The premises are situated within Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan and are easily reached by metro from T-centralen via the red line to Stadion. Please note that bachata courses during the period May–December 2025 are held in a temporary venue at Medborgarplatsen on Åsögatan 153, while salsa courses continue at GIH.

Karamba Dance Studio welcomes everyone regardless of prior dance experience. In addition to regular courses, the school also offers tailored services for groups and private occasions. Registration and the schedule are available via the studio's website.
