KI Gym BASE - Campus Huddinge

KI Gym BASE is Karolinska Institutet's campus gym in Flemingsberg, located at Alfred Nobels allé 23 in Huddinge. The gym is open to KI staff and students and offers a wide range of training environments under one roof: the gym sections Free and Strong cover machines, free weights, lifting platforms, a rig and kettlebells, while the cardio section houses rowing machines, curved treadmills, air bikes, ski ergs and cross-trainers. The studio Space is equipped with rings, wall bars, ceiling bars and a thick mat — suitable for circuit training and martial arts — and yoga, dance and meditation classes are held in the Mind studio.

The atmosphere is functional and close to campus; the timetable varies from week to week and booking is done via the app Wondr. The gym is open every day 06:00–22:00, with changing rooms, showers and lockable lockers. What sets BASE apart is the combination of specialised training studios with professional equipment and free access for the entire KI community, at no extra cost.
