Kvarnbadet

Kvarnbadet is a municipal outdoor swimming facility at the northern end of Vallentunasjön in Vallentuna, open from June until the end of August each year. The facility has three pools: a 50-metre pool for fitness swimming, a 17.5-metre pool intended for swimming lessons and children with limited swimming ability, and a paddling pool for the very youngest. The swimming school is run by Täby simklubb and requires separate registration. In addition to swimming, water exercise classes are offered in the large pool during selected weeks, along with canoe hire and a sauna with scheduled sessions.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming — the facility is a local meeting place rather than a dedicated training venue. Fitness swimmers have access to dedicated lanes during morning hours and evening sessions, while the rest of the day is open swimming. A pool lift is available for those who need to enter the water from a wheelchair, and there is also an accessible toilet. A kiosk and grill are open during the facility's regular hours.
