Layali Orientaliska Dansakademi

Layali Orientaliska Dansakademi is located in Vasastan in Stockholm and offers courses in a broad range of dance styles rooted in the Middle East, South Asia and Western performing arts. The programme covers Belly dance and Oriental dance, Bollywood and Indian dance, Persian dance and Burlesque — with both term-based courses and drop-in classes for those who want to try without committing.

Teaching is led by a team of named instructors, among them Agnes, Anastasia, Nasrin and Fräulein Frauke, giving each discipline a clear pedagogical profile. The studio also organises student showcases, hafla events and hen parties, and there are performance groups for those who wish to progress beyond the introductory courses.

Suitable for anyone who wants to learn a new dance style in a welcoming environment, whether you are a complete beginner or have been dancing for a while. Term passes and gift cards are available, and courses are structured by level.
