Lidingö Fäktklubb LFK

Lidingö Fäktklubb is based in a dedicated fencing hall at Farkostvägen 3 in Lidingö, a venue that has been specially renovated for the club's activities by Lidingö municipality. The club brings together just over 140 active fencers and offers training for everyone from beginners to competition-oriented practitioners. The activities are open to children from the age of seven, young people, and adults with no upper age limit.

Fencing is an Olympic sport with a long history that demands quick decision-making, coordination, fitness and technical skill. The club's instructors are well trained and undergo continuous professional development. Head fencing master Marcus Rönnmark has, among other things, been engaged by the International Fencing Federation FIE as responsible fencing master at training camps in connection with the Junior World Championships.

The club offers courses for children, young people and adults, as well as events and parties. The activities emphasise sound sporting values and a long-term approach that makes room both for those seeking exercise and community and for those who wish to pursue competitive fencing more seriously.
