Magdanscenter in Stockholm offers term-based courses and workshops in classical belly dance with Egyptian dance style as its foundation. The course programme is divided into three levels — Beginners, Beginners Intermediate and Intermediate — and is complemented by the dance-based fitness format Jallabina Workout as well as a performance group, Mayari showgrupp, for more experienced dancers. Each lesson includes a warm-up, technique, choreography and stretching, and terms conclude with Christmas and spring performances.

The courses are held at Västmannagatan 46 near Odenplan and are led by instructor Pishi. Group sizes are limited and the format consists of instructor-led lessons rather than open drop-in sessions, creating a continuity that suits progressive learning. The studio is run as a non-profit association with the aim of spreading Oriental culture, giving the operation a clear cultural grounding beyond the purely fitness-oriented.

Suitable for those who want to learn belly dance from scratch in a structured course format, or who already have some experience and wish to continue developing towards stage and performances.
