Malavé karate do

Malavé karate do is a karate dojo in Vasastan, Stockholm, teaching the in-house developed system Malavé Do — a style founded by Ramon Malavé with roots in traditional karate. The training formats include Karate Do, Malavé Do self-defence and Malavé Do Karate Fitness, and in addition to Vasastan there are branches in Östermalm, Kungsholmen, Sundbyberg, Sollentuna, Hägersten and Enköping, as well as the option of Karate Online.

The environment is instructor-led and built around clear dojo rules, a grading system and an explicit mental concept alongside the technical one. Competition training exists as a separate track for those aiming to compete. What sets the studio apart is the Malavé Do system itself, documented in a dedicated book, with a considered technical and mental framework that distinguishes it from more conventional clubs.
