Münchenbryggeriet klippklättring

Münchenbryggeriet is an outdoor climbing crag at Söder Mälarstrand on Södermalm in Stockholm, documented in the climbing guide Sverigeföraren. The site offers sport climbing on rope with a wide range of routes, from beginner-friendly grades around 5c to advanced projects at 8a and above.

The rock face consists of a combination of blasted rock in the lower section and natural rock higher up — a mix that provides varied climbing. In total there are around forty named routes spread across the left and right sections, with grades ranging from 5c (Borgila, Viking) through intermediate levels such as Längsta leden 6b and Babba bitch 6c, up to demanding routes like Batman 8a+, Hål i skrovet 8a and Mors dag 7c. Many of the routes were first ascended by Johan Luhr.

The site is well suited to anyone who wants to climb on natural rock close to the city centre without a long journey — a quick evening visit after work is entirely feasible. It is a good fit for those who already know the basics of sport climbing and want access to a varied selection of routes in an urban setting.
