Örnberget climbing crag

Örnberget is an outdoor climbing crag in Tullinge, south of Stockholm, and is considered one of the most popular sport climbing areas in the Stockholm region. The crag offers just over 175 sport routes and around ten trad routes spread across three main walls: Svaväggen, Sydväggen and Västväggen. The routes are generally 20–25 metres long and grades range from beginner-friendly levels up to 8c, with the majority falling in the 6a–7c range.

The atmosphere is open and self-sufficient – there is no instructor or reception, and climbers navigate using topos and their own knowledge. Sydväggen dominates the offering with 117 routes across ten topos, while Svaväggen and Västväggen complement it with overhangs and varied character. The crag has been documented by the community project Climbing in Stockholm and the topography is available digitally.

Access requires some consideration: parking is available at the boat club approximately 300 metres from the crag, or in a small lay-by with space for four cars directly at the cliff. Well suited to experienced sport climbers looking for a varied and easily accessible outdoor option close to the city, but also to beginners climbing with a more experienced companion.
