Powerfit Gymnastics

Powerfit Gymnastics is an adult gymnastics programme run by Hammarbygymnasterna in Hammarbyhöjden, Stockholm. The programme offers four different training formats based on gymnastics-inspired movements, suitable for everyone from beginners to more experienced gymnasts looking to develop their technique further.

The most common classes are Allround and Bas, both held at Hammarbyskolan Norra. Allround combines strength, mobility and cardio in a circuit-based format, while Bas has a calmer pace with a focus on fundamental technique in movements such as handstands, cartwheels and round-offs. For those who want to try group gymnastics involving somersaults, trampolines and a tumbling floor, Powerfit Trupp is held at Mälarhöjdens gymnastiksal. Powerfit PT is a more goal-oriented class in a small group, focused on artistic gymnastics and intended for participants who already have some training experience.

All classes must be booked in advance via Timecenter and places are limited. A first trial class offer makes it possible to try most classes free of charge, after which standard prices apply. Classes are held on weekday evenings and Saturdays.
