Sollentuna Tang Soo Do (TSD) Karate

Sollentuna Tang Soo Do is a small karate club in Sollentuna that teaches the traditional martial art Tang Soo Do — a style that combines classical techniques with modern training principles. The club offers groups for all ages: Drakar (ages 6–7), J1 (ages 8–9), J2 (ages 10–12), Ungdom (ages 13–18), and an adult group (18+). For those who have progressed further in their development, there is also the G+ group, open from green belt onwards.

The atmosphere is characterised by a sense of community and inclusion — training takes place in instructor-led groups in the mirrored hall at Edsbergshallen, with an emphasis on respect, cooperation and self-discipline. Classes are led by head instructors Frej Sandqvist and Maria Sandqvist, both holding 3rd dan, ensuring a solid level of technical expertise.

Well suited to families with children looking for a structured martial art with clear values, as well as adults who wish to learn self-defence and Tang Soo Do from scratch or continue progressing towards higher belts.
