SSIF

SSIF – Stockholms Studenters IF is a sports association in Lappkärrsberget in Stockholm, connected to Stockholm University, offering a wide range of instructor-led classes and courses for everyone aged 18 and above. The activities span an unusually varied selection: tennis, swimming, badminton, fencing, salsa, orienteering, self-defence and mindfulness are available as courses, while group training and fitness passes cover the ongoing scheduled sessions. Seasonal activities such as beach volleyball and cross-country skiing are added at the appropriate time of year.

The atmosphere is association-oriented rather than commercial, with a focus on accessibility and breadth. Training is adapted to different levels, and the fact that the association collaborates with Stockholm University and Frescati Sports Center gives it a clear academic grounding. What sets SSIF apart is precisely the combination of traditional sports courses and modern fitness concepts under one roof, with special prices and passes for students and university staff.
