Stockholm Aikikai Aikido

Stockholm Aikikai Aikidoklubb is based in Hägersten in Stockholm and offers regular aikido training for adults and young people. Training takes place in traditional form with no separate beginner classes – new participants join the regular sessions directly and train alongside more experienced practitioners. The club offers trial classes, an introductory course (subject to sufficient interest), and the possibility of guest training for members from other aikido clubs.

Sessions are led by several named instructors – Peter, Anna, Jimmy and Mats – and the timetable covers morning and evening times Monday to Friday. The atmosphere is traditional and friendly, with a focus on the classical aikido principle of power and movement without aggression. The club is also active at camp level and takes part in national and international gatherings.
