Stockholm Wado Karateklubb

Stockholm Wado Karateklubb (SWKK) is a karate club for adults with training facilities in central Stockholm. The club practises Wado Ryu, one of the four major karate styles of Japanese origin, and offers a training structure that combines technical discipline with physical development in areas such as strength, fitness, coordination and flexibility.

Classes take place in the evenings on weekdays, making the club accessible to working professionals. On Mondays, training is held at Lilla Adolf Fredriks skola and on Fridays at Högalidsskolan. Each term, beginners are welcomed with an introductory programme in September and January respectively, where the first sessions offer the opportunity to attend a trial class without a full financial commitment.

Membership is term-based and the fee is relatively low compared to commercial alternatives. The club also arranges camps, for example in Åkersberga, for those who wish to deepen their training outside the regular schedule.
