Stockholms Barnidrottsförening

Stockholms Barnidrottsförening is a sports association in Stockholm offering movement-based courses and activities for children and young people. Its programmes span Bamsegympa & Idrottsskolan, Parkour & Freerunning, Alla Kan Gympa, and a summer camp in the form of Stockholm Sports Camp – a day camp where participants try out tennis, athletics, handball, dance, parkour, basketball, ultimate frisbee and much more.

Classes are held in gymnastics halls on Kungsholmen and in the Bromma area, with separate groups by age and clearly instructor-led sessions. Bamsegympa is offered with or without a parent and focuses on motor skills and coordination, while the parkour courses run both indoors (September–April) and outdoors when the weather permits. Particularly notable is Alla Kan Gympa, an adapted training concept for children with disabilities in adapted primary schools – a format that few comparable associations offer.
