Stockholms Barnidrottsförening Vasastan

Stockholms Barnidrottsförening is a sports association in Vasastan, Stockholm, offering movement activities and courses for children of various ages. The activities span Bamsegympa & Idrottsskolan, Parkour & Freerunning, Alla Kan Gympa, summer camps through Stockholm Sports Camp, as well as children's parties and events. Bamsegympa & Idrottsskolan combines children's gymnastics with elements from other sports and coordination circuits, while the parkour courses are held indoors during the winter months and outdoors in Stockholm's parks during the summer.

The groups are small and led by dedicated instructors, with a clear division by age group. Alla Kan Gympa is a separate concept adapted for children with disabilities and is held at Stadshagshallen on Kungsholmen. What sets the association apart from many others is its breadth: the same organisation offers everything from day camps with up to around ten sports per day to term-based parkour courses in both indoor and outdoor formats, and new members can attend a trial class free of charge.

Suitable for those with children aged 1–13 who are looking for structured, playful movement with well-trained instructors — or who want to give their child an active summer with new friends and varied sport.
