Stockholms Wushu & Kung fu

Stockholms Wushu & Kung fu, located near Medborgarplatsen on Södermalm, is a non-profit sports association founded in 2002 with a focus on Chinese martial arts. The training on offer includes traditional Shaolin kung fu, modern wushu (taolu), sanda (Chinese kickboxing) and taiji quan – for children from the age of five, as well as young people and adults at all levels.

The premises are fresh and centrally situated with easy access to public transport. Training is led by a team of Swedish and Chinese instructors, including the Shaolin monk Master Xing Yongtao and the club's founders Peder Finnsiö and Gunnar Malm – both active within the Swedish Kung fu & Wushu Federation and national team activities. It is an association with a clear competitive profile: the club organises the Swedish Championships, European Championships and Nordic Open Wushu Championships, and several members are part of the Swedish national team.

Suitable for those who want to learn martial arts from scratch, or who already have experience and wish to compete internationally. Also appropriate for parents looking for structured and serious children's training within an established association.
