Swedish Swing Society

Swedish Swing Society is a non-profit dance association in Vasastan, Stockholm, bringing people together around swing and blues dancing in various forms. The course offering covers Lindy Hop, Balboa, Blues, Authentic Jazz and Stepp — from beginner level up to more experienced dancers. In addition to courses, open practice sessions are also available where you can train on your own alongside others.

The association has a distinctly community-driven profile, with membership, a board and the opportunity to get involved as a volunteer. Social dances and the association's own events — such as Balboa in Bloom, Slow Bal Club and Stockholm Blues Fest — recur regularly and provide the chance to dance to live music and meet others in the scene.
