Tamashîgoé Kampkonst & Kulturförening

Tamashîgoé Kampkonst & Kulturförening, also known as Tamashigoe Dojo, is an association-run martial arts school in Sundbyberg that teaches Japanese martial arts for children and adults.

Training is divided into several distinct groups: MiniSamurajerna for children aged 3–6, SamurajKids for ages 7–12, Avancerade SamurajKids from orange belt onwards, and an adult group from age 13 in which Aiki Jujutsu and Iai Jutsu form the core.

In addition to the regular classes, Tameshigiri – sword cutting on tatami mats – is offered as a separate session approximately every other Saturday and every other Monday. Classes are held at Aktivitetshuset Milot on Milstensvägen in Sundbyberg, and are led by instructors in a structured dojo-like environment with a clear belt grading system.

What distinguishes the association is the combination of traditional Japanese martial arts and cultural grounding, including participation in international tournaments (Taikai) and the possibility of purchasing equipment such as hakama and keikogi directly through the association.
