TÅP Studio

TÅP Studio is located in Östermalm in Stockholm and offers classical ballet and movement training for adults in a venue with roots going back to 1938. The programme covers several levels and formats: Ballet for Adults, Prova på Balett, Senior Ballet 55+, and BetiBalance – a movement form that combines the foundational technique of ballet with functional strength training. Children's ballet is also offered on a private basis and for groups.

The studio is run by Bétina, a former soloist at the Royal Swedish Opera with a background from Paris, London and Copenhagen. Teaching is instructor-led and personal, with a focus on posture, movement awareness and technical development rather than performance. The venue's history – continuous dance activity since Sven Olof Tropp's time in the 1930s – gives the place a distinctive character that few studios can match.

Suitable for those who want to start ballet as an adult with no prior experience, or who are looking for a methodical and calm training environment with experienced guidance. Senior Ballet 55+ is aimed in particular at those who want to move gently and regularly.
