The International Ballet School

The International Ballet School is located on Hornsgatan in Södermalm and offers ballet training for children, young people and adults at a high level. The school teaches classical ballet across a broad range of classes – from children's classes and associate programmes for young dancers to Adult Ballet for adult beginners and those continuing their training.

Teaching takes place in instructor-led groups with a focus on technique and artistic development, and the atmosphere is described as supportive rather than elitist, despite the professional orientation.

What truly sets the school apart is its founder, Gina Tse: a former Principal Dancer at the Royal Opera, Stockholm's Dancer of the Year in 2011 and nominated for the Benois de la Danse prize, who still teaches actively and leads the associate programmes personally. Teaching is conducted in English.
