The Well Zone is a wellness centre on Södermalm in Stockholm, built around the needs of the nervous system rather than performance and intensity. The business is divided into four interconnected zones: a movement zone with reformer pilates, somatic training and strength training; a community zone for socialising and relaxation; a recovery zone featuring contrast therapy, red light therapy and breathing exercises, among other things; and a collaboration zone with access to external health specialists in nutrition, hormones and physical rehabilitation.

The concept is grounded in research on nervous system regulation and combines modern methods with established practices. Group sizes are small and instructors are trained in nervous-system-informed guidance. The environment is designed with attention to light, sound and scent to support the body's natural recovery.

The studio was founded by Mayra and Gamze and is located at Östgötagatan 25B on Södermalm. Bookings are handled via an external booking platform. There is an offer for first-time visitors and a seasonal promotional offer with four months of free access.

Cold Immersion

SEK 350 · 1 credit
Step into the cold and discover a different kind of calm. This class guides you through a powerful cold plunge experience, from beginning to end, integrating movement, breath, and visualization. Along the way, you’ll also learn about the benefits of cold exposure and how to approach it safely and effectively. A cold plunge awakens your body, sharpens your mind, and leaves you feeling refreshed, energized, and fully present. In our modern world, we are rarely exposed to extreme temperatures in the way we once were. Entering cold water challenges both the body and the mind. It becomes a practice of resilience—an opportunity to access inner strength, regulate the nervous system, and reduce stress. Please note: Cold exposure is a powerful practice. If you have any cardiovascular conditions or high or low blood pressure, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before participating.Show more

Contrast Therapy Ritual

SEK 350 · 1 credit
Exposure & Recovery A guided contrast therapy experience combining breathwork, sauna heat, and cold immersion. We use intentional breathing to prepare and regulate the nervous system before moving between heat and cold exposure. Hot and cold therapy has been practiced for centuries to build resilience, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. In a modern world filled with constant stimulation and environmental load, intentional heat and cold offer a powerful way to recalibrate both body and mind. By consciously entering intensity and returning to calm, we train the body to respond — not react. Expect clarity, vitality, and a powerful nervous system reset. Please note: Contrast therapy is a powerful practice. If you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, high or low blood pressure, respiratory concerns, or any medical condition that may be affected by heat or cold exposure, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before participating.Show more

Joint-Focused Strength

SEK 350 · 1 credit
Joint-focused strength, control, and resilience through precise, intentional movement This is a science-based mobility training session designed to improve the way your joints move, stabilize, and support your everyday life. Inspired by principles from functional mobility systems —and taught through The Well Zone lens of nervous system safety and intentionality—this class blends controlled articular rotations, end-range strength training, and biomechanically sound movement to help your body move better from the inside out. Rather than stretching passively, you’ll train mobility actively—building joint capacity: the strength, control, and resilience to move well in your full range of motion. You’re not just “getting looser", you’re teaching your body to own its range—so it becomes usable, stable, and safe. This improves joint health, reduces stiffness, prevents injuries, and enhances how you walk, sit, lift, twist, and move through the world. The pace is slow and deliberate so your nervous system stays calm, allowing you to strengthen safely and with full control. This is mobility for longevity, function, and freedom. You will feel: • Increased range of motion that actually feels usable • More joint capacity — strength at your edges • Stronger, more stable joints • Clearer body awareness and control • A sense of capability and confidence in your movement • Less stiffness, more fluidity, and better posture Perfect for: Anyone wanting to move better, feel more resilient, prShow more

Meditation & Sound Healing

SEK 350 · 1 credit
A guided practice for nervous system downregulation, presence, and internal clarity Our Meditation & Sound Healing class is a calm, sensory-safe environment where you learn how to shift your internal state through breath, focus, and awareness. Anchored in evidence-based techniques—such as attentional training, nervous system downshifting, and guided interoception—this class helps you transition from mental overload into grounded presence. Depending on the session, meditation may be supported by gentle sound healing (crystal bowls, chimes, subtle frequencies), which use rhythmic vibration to calm the vagus nerve, slow the stress response, and guide your system toward parasympathetic safety. The sound is always soft, intentional, and trauma-aware—not overwhelming or intense. This class teaches your body and brain how to settle, soften, and restore. You will feel: • Clearer and mentally lighter • More anchored in your breath and body • A reduction in mental noise or tension • Calm, present, and internally spacious Perfect for: Anyone experiencing overwhelm, mental fatigue, stress cycles, or difficulty slowing down. Ideal for beginners and experienced meditators alike, as well as sensitive nervous systems that need a gentle, structured approach to regulation.Show more

SEK 350 · 1 credit
Welcome to a 60-minute movement experience where your body leads and the practice follows. In this class, movement unfolds like a continuous conversation between joints, breath, and attention. Inspired by Qi Gong, martial arts, and somatic movement, the class is designed as an always evolving flow rather than separate postures. Expect circular movements, soft spirals, and asanas that create an internal massage-like effect. The kind of warmth that builds gradually without pushing the cardiovascular system into too much intensity. This practice is especially supportive for bodies navigating injury, fatigue, or those who often find traditional yoga formats too rigid or externally demanding. There is no performance layer here, only presence, pacing yourself, and freedom to move in a way that feels coherent for your needs today. You might experience it as a graceful dance with gravity, where fluidity and stillness meet and the nervous system gets to soften.Show more

Synergy Flow for Newborn Mothers

SEK 350 · 1 credit
A 60-minute shared space for mothers who want to practice synergy yoga without stepping away from their baby. This open-level class is built around fluid, adaptable movement that supports grounding and connection. The flow is inspired by Synergy principles: continuous movement, gentle spirals, and rhythmic sequences that help the body feel warm, spacious, and regulated while staying responsive to your baby's needs. There is no expectation of a "perfect practice" here. Babies dictate the rhythm, and you can pause, resume, adjust, and re-enter at any moment. Your baby is part of the environment, not an interruption to it. You will be guided through nourishing movements that release tension, support the spine, and bring embodied calm. The intention is not just physical ease, but a felt sense of being replenished while staying close to your child. We close with a short sound bath, a shared moment of playful settling for parent and baby.Show more
