Urban Tribes

Urban Tribes was founded in 2011 by Lisa and Rubin with the aim of making group exercise and wellness fun and accessible to everyone. Behind the business is a team of dedicated fitness instructors who work from the conviction that movement builds self-confidence and creates positive communities.

The company is aimed primarily at workplaces and offers corporate training in the form of running sessions and other group activities, with the purpose of strengthening cohesion and wellbeing among colleagues. In addition, Urban Tribes organises corporate races for groups ranging from around thirty to nearly 1,800 participants, an activity that has been running since 2012. The treadmill studio in Solna also caters to individuals with sessions adapted to different levels.

A recurring feature of Urban Tribes' activities is the running race Spring för Livet, which is held on Djurgården in Stockholm and where all proceeds are donated to UNICEF's work in Malawi. The training offering includes running as well as yoga, and the vision is to make movement simple and accessible to as many people as possible.
