Zumba Sol

Zumba Sol is a dance-based fitness operation founded in 2010 by Melissa Pilot, a certified Zumba instructor with Caribbean roots and a background in Paris. The business offers Zumba classes for adults and seniors at several locations in Stockholm and Nacka, including at Dieselverkstaden in Sickla and Fryshuset near Gullmarsplan.

Classes are held in Zumba and Zumba Gold, the latter being specifically adapted for participants aged 65 and over, with pace and movements tailored to that group. The Latin-inspired format combines dance and cardiovascular exercise, and no prior experience is required to take part. The instructor emphasises enjoyment and a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere as defining features of the sessions.

Scheduled classes run on Mondays at 19.00 at Dieselverkstaden and on Wednesdays at 17.00 at Fryshuset. You can choose between term enrolment, a class pass in various sizes, or drop-in. There is also the option to make up missed sessions subject to availability, and a trial class ticket is available for anyone wishing to try it for the first time.
