Founded in 1861, Agecroft Rowing Club is one of the oldest open-membership rowing clubs in the world, based at Salford Quays. The club offers rowing for all abilities — from complete beginners through to aspiring internationals, masters, juniors and competitive seniors.
Members train on a 5,000m stretch of the River Irwell and Salford Quays, and enjoy a purpose-built £1 million clubhouse with a state-of-the-art gym including 24 Concept 2 rowing machines. The club also hosts a Learn to Row programme and Go Row Indoor indoor rowing sessions.
