Barre & Ballet - Islington

Barre&Baby is a movement community founded by Elisa Reinerio in 2012, dedicated to supporting women through matrescence — the profound physical, emotional and mental transformation of pregnancy and motherhood.

Drawing on anatomy, physiology, neuroscience, psychology and evolutionary biology, the network offers pregnancy and Mum&Baby group classes, adult 'Dancing Mindfully' classes, private sessions (virtual and at-home), and workshops.

Classes are available online and in London, with teachers also active across the UK, Italy, South Africa, Spain, Serbia, Canada, Germany, Greece and Belgium. The approach uses dance and movement to counter postnatal depression, anxiety and loneliness, and to help mothers reconnect with their instincts and bodies.
