Brighton Kitesurf and SUP Academy - Shoreham

Brighton Kitesurf & SUP Academy is a friendly, professional watersports school based on the South Coast, offering kitesurfing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and WingFoil lessons for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced riders.

Kitesurfing lessons are held at Lancing Beach, renowned for its shallow flat water and cross-onshore winds, and use BB Talkin two-way communication helmets for safe, rapid progression. SUP lessons and river trips take place on the calm flat water of the River Adur near Shoreham and Arundel.

The academy specialises in private one-to-one or small-group tuition (max two students per instructor), and is the first school on the South Coast to be affiliated with both the British Kitesports Association (BKSA) and the British Stand Up Paddleboarding Association (BSUPA).

On completing a learn-to-kiteboard course, participants receive the internationally recognised BKSA kiteboarder card. All equipment — including wetsuits and buoyancy aids — is provided.
