Corrib Dance Academy has been the home of ballet in Galway since 1996. Founded and led by RAD Registered Teacher Phyllis Hayes, the academy teaches classical ballet and modern dance from age 3.5 through Grade 8 and vocational exam levels, following the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus.

Classes are inclusive and mixed, with boys welcomed from age 5 and a clear progression pathway from pre-ballet through to exams. The timetable runs on weekday afternoons and evenings and all day Saturday across two studios, plus a new Carnmore venue for beginners and juniors from September 2026.

Jazz and contemporary classes are also offered, and students perform in full-scale annual productions such as Neverland and Journey Through Narnia. Trial classes are available for beginner age groups.
