RABJJ Academy is a family-focused Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school founded in 1997 by Professor Ricardo Almeida, a 6th degree black belt who moved from Brazil to New Jersey to assist at the Renzo Gracie Academy. The academy offers programs for kids, teens and adults at every level, from beginners to experienced grapplers, plus an MMA team, summer camps and a homeschool program.

Classes are structured so less experienced students are paired with senior-ranking students and no one is left behind. The facilities are large (3,000-5,000 sq ft) and built with families in mind, with daily and hourly classes to suit kids, weekend warriors, time-crunched parents and young athletes. Training emphasises discipline, confidence, self-defense and fitness.

New students are invited to try a complimentary intro class to meet the instructors, see the facility and meet members.
