Ganbaru Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts academy in Waterford, established in 2012 as an affiliate of East Coast Jiu-Jitsu under Darragh O'Conaill. It was Waterford's first BJJ academy to guide members from white belt to black belt under the same coaches.

The timetable covers Gi and NoGi Jiu-Jitsu, MMA from fundamentals to advanced, a kids' class for ages 8-13, a female-led women's-only class with a calmer pace, and open mats open to all. Training welcomes both competitive athletes and hobbyists, and the academy is a partner of Team Ryano Waterford MMA.

Classes run Monday to Saturday, mostly in the evenings, and members book and manage memberships through the GymDesk app. The first week of training is free.
