Hot Jazz Rag is a specialist dance school led by Nikki Santilli, focusing on authentic African-American jazz dances from the period 1900–1950: Solo Jazz, Balboa, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Black Bottom and more. Classes are offered at multiple London venues (including London Bridge/Southwark, Archway and Wimbledon) as well as online via Zoom and at Oxford University.

Nikki brings deep historical knowledge to her teaching, complementing movement classes with lectures, discussions and writing about the cultural and civil-rights history of jazz. Hot Jazz Rag also organises social dance events including the monthly Tea Hop, the formal Paper Moon ball (with live bands), and the occasional Moonshine nights.
