Intelligent Movement Somatics Debbie Lyn Therapy

Intelligent Movement Somatics is led by Liz Underwood, a certified Clinical Somatic Educator with over 21 years of experience guiding people back to themselves through movement.

Rooted in yoga and yoga therapy, the practice centres on Clinical Somatics — a neuroscience-founded movement method developed by Thomas Hanna that teaches students to recognise and release muscular holding patterns causing pain, tension, and restricted movement.

Sessions address chronic tension, back pain, sciatica, poor posture, and nervous system dysregulation through gentle, mindful movement and the unique technique of Pandiculation.

Liz offers live online classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Wednesday evenings, an on-demand video library, step-by-step beginner courses, in-person Clinical Somatics appointments, 1:1 movement coaching, workshops, mini-retreats, and retreats. The practice is suitable for all abilities, including those with a limited range of movement.
