Genbukan Nitten Dojo in Navan, Co. Meath teaches traditional Japanese martial arts to children, teenagers and adults. Classes are held at Navan Rugby Football Club and follow the same structure as the head dojo (Honbu) in Japan.

Children learn manners, discipline, respect and self defence through fun and games in a traditional setting, while adults build awareness, confidence and self defence skills. Teens aged 12+ train high-intensity martial arts with fitness work and an introduction to sword, hanbo and 6ft staff (bo) and other specialist weapons.

The main instructor holds 5th dan in Ninpo and 5th dan in Jujutsu and teaches under the guidance of Grandmaster Shoto Tanemura. No size, strength or fitness level is required to start. Classes run on Wednesdays, with an online Zoom option for the adult class.
