The Mugendo Association of Ireland (MAI) is a kickboxing and martial arts association founded in 1991 by Stewart Beattie, Michael McDermott and Desy Murphy, whose chief instructors share over 100 years of combined martial arts experience.

Members follow a karate-style grading syllabus while training in light, semi and full-contact kickboxing, with a focus on continuous kickboxing. The association has affiliated clubs across Antrim, Armagh, Louth, Sligo, Leitrim and Tyrone, including North East Mugendo Lordship in Dundalk, and counts many national, European and world champions among its members.

MAI hosts the annual Mugendo Open, an open kickboxing competition welcoming all styles and levels, as well as yearly black belt gradings, winter and summer seminars and ring shows around Ireland. It is a member of Kickboxing Ireland (KBI) and the Irish Martial Arts Commission (IMAC).
